Product information for Bayer Aspirine 100: Application of Bayer Aspirine 100: Aspirin 100 may be used for:- fever and pain from flu and colds- fever and pain after vaccination- headache- toothache- nerve pain- lumbago- muscle pain- rheumatic painDo not use in- If you are allergic (hypersensitive) to acetylsalicylic acid or other salicylic acid compounds or to any of the other ingredients of this product- if you have had asthma caused by the administration of salicylates or substances with similar effects, especially analgesics, fever-reducing and anti-inflammatory drugs called NSAIDs - when you are in the last 3 months of your pregnancy- if you suffer from a stomach and/or duodenal ulcer- when you have severe renal dysfunction- if you have serious hepatic impairment- if you have serious dysfunction of the heart- if you are taking more than 15 mg of methotrexate per week (a medicine used to treat cancer, severe psoriasis and rheumatoid arthritis)- if you have an increased bleeding tendencyIngredients of Bayer Aspirine 100: Active ingredients: 100 mg acetylsalicylic acid per tabletExcipients: cellulose powder and corn starchUsage of Bayer Aspirine 100: Children 3-6 years of age: 1-2 tablets at a time, up to 7-8 tablets (= 700-800 mg)per 24 hours, divided into 4-6 dosesChildren aged 7-9 years: 2 tablets at a time, up to 10-12 tablets (= 1000-1200 mg)per 24 hours, divided into 4-6 doses.Children aged 10-11 years: 3 tablets at a time, up to 15 tablets (= 1500 mg) per 24hours, divided into 4-6 doses.The time between intakes should be at least 4 hours by children. The loweradministration frequency is intended for children in the lower limit of the respectiveage group. In the case of children up to 4 years of age, administration for more than 2 days is discouraged.For children 12 years and older, refer to Aspirin, tablets of 500 mg.When symptoms (fever and pain) recur, repeated administration is permitted,but the maximum dosage (children 3-6 years: 700-800 mg daily; children 7-9 years:1000-1200 mg and children 10-11 years: 1500 per day) should not be exceeded.Break up the tablets in a generous amount of water; stir well and drink. In the case of small children, administer the tablets crushed with liquid; if necessary, allow water to follow. If a rapid effect is desired, administration on an empty stomach or at least half an hour before meals is preferred.
