Values lower than 7 are called acidic pH values, values higher than 7 are alkaline. The pH of our urine fluctuates between 5.0 and 7.5 throughout the day and depends on the meals we consume, among other things. Morning urine is usually acidic, as the body excretes more acidic waste products at night. After a meal, a healthy person has a flood of bases to trigger digestion.
